If you're looking for a cozy escape with a side of culinary delight, Schweiger's Landgasthof in the peaceful village just 20 minutes from the airport is a solid choice. After a rather frantic flight journey from Munich, their warm hospitality made all the difference; they even arranged a baby cot for us on such short notice. Every morning, we enjoyed an inviting breakfast buffet that filled us up for a day of exploration-think freshly baked breads and locally sourced meats. The restaurant also deserves a mention; from Wednesday to Sunday, they serve hearty German and international dishes in a picturesque beer garden. One evening, I savored a dish that reflected the rich flavours I miss from home and the thoughtful blend of traditional and contemporary cooking. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed, perfect for unwinding after a day of capturing the stunning landscapes around us. Schweiger's Landgasthof made our culinary getaway one for the books, and I'm already dreaming about my return.
